Tutoring done by someone who is approachable, understanding, patient, and knowledgable about math. Breaking down math concepts so they are easy to understand at any level. Getting the opportunity to work with students who struggle with math is a great experience. Being able to support my students so their grades go from failing to high As or Bs is what I love to do.

I love teaching Math! I retired a few years ago when my dad was sick. I taught middle school and elementary math in WV for 33 years before I retired. Most recently, I have been teaching math at a residential facility for boys in Ohio. The boys range in age from 12 to 18. They are very far behind due to circumstances beyond their control. I have an elementary education degree, grades 1 - 8, from Marshall University with a math specialization, grades 1 - 9....
