I have over 20 years of teaching experience working with students Pre K-adult, in all core academic areas. I hold a Master's Degree in Education and licenses in general education, special education and online facilitation.
I enjoy getting students excited about learning and instilling self-confidence. Finding people's strengths can help overcome weaknesses.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When meeting new students, I think it's important to get to know each other and find their interests and strengths. Working with strengths can help fill in any gaps and make the learning process more effective, and tailored to specific learning styles.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Master of Education and I am licensed to teach General Education and Special Education, grades Pre-K-Adult, as well as hold an Online Facilitator License.
How did you get started teaching?
I had a difficult time in school and if it was for the one teacher I had who still inspires me to this day, I might not have realized the impact both positive and negative a teacher has on his/her students. I went into teaching to inspire my students and hope to instill a passion for learning and belief in themselves.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students of all ages, pre-kindergarten through adult, and with a variety of needs.
