About

I am passionate about teaching and enabling the next generation to achieve their goals. I am empathetic and endeavor to anything to understand my students are struggling, and I am willing to use various startegies to elucidate concepts to students.

I am a hard worker, and will be willing to go the extra mile to help you to not only understand the subject material, but master it and be able to transfer learned skills to other subejcts. I aim to not only teach studnets the subject matter, but help them to develop character skills such as self-discpline, diligence, problem-solving, and creativity.

I have been teaching/tutoring science and math over the last 5 years, and have experience dealing with Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Adv Chemistry, Adv Physics, K-6 Math, Algebra 1 & 2, Trigonometry, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus 1, Calculus 2, and Calculus 3. I have taught in one-on-one settings and in classroom settings with grade K-12. I have tutored privately in Cleveland, OH, and currently am starting my 3rd year teaching/tutoring at Falls Baptist Academy, where I am the head of the Science Department.

NASA Internship

High-School Internship at NASA Glenn Research Center, Cleveland, OH

Worked under Dr. Isaiah Blankson, Senior Technologist to design and prototype a compact plasma water purifier unit for point-of-use water treatment in underdeveloped countries and on the International Space Station (April–October 2018).

I love to invest in the next generation. I remember when I would come home from school, discouraged and exasperated because I did not understand the professor's explanations, no matter how I tried. I would look up YouTube videos to help and try to self-teach. I eventually got better and better and teaching myself the concepts, until pretty soon, I began to help other classmates because I knew to how to explain the tough concepts simply.

This is exactly what I want to do for you as the student! I want to come alongside you, care for you, understand the struggles you are going through, and ask questions/give strategy so that you can learn on your own.

I will not just give you the right answer! I will lead you step-by-step through the porocess of soving problems, and show you the most efficient and understadnbale pathway for YOU! I love to teach and see the "lightbulb" glow in the faces of students!

Please reach out with more questions! Looking forward to working with you!

I contact them and find out what their avaiblae tiems for tutronig are.

Then, we scheudle a meeting to find out where they need help in their academics.

Once I have pinpointed their needs, then we set a time weekly, bi-weekly, or however frequently is necessary for tutoring.

Then, I develop a strategy with them on how we will gain mastery in the subject.

And then, we begin to have sessions together!

I have a strong high-school experience with a 4.0 GPA as well as 2 1/2 years of college under my belt.
