My name is Nona and I am a graduate of high school at 16 years, I've been advanced twice in school. I've also been honored by the mayor here for my achievements. I am bilingual in Spanish. I love helping others and sharing not only my passion for learning but also my passion for the arts. I cook, bake, and Latin and Contemporary Dance. I am also teaching Latin dance classes this Summer! I am currently a Computer Science IT major with a little over a year left of school and minor in Spanish! Lets grow together. I'm looking forward to moving forward with you!
I love helping others learn regardless of age or experience level, and I am strong believer in providing excellent customer service and a customized individual learning plan according to each students needs and wants. I am the oldest of 5 children so I can definitely understand how important individuality can be!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I create a customized learning plan and strategy checklist tailored specifically to each person I tutor. I currently tutor for the following subjects: English, Reading, ESL, and Spanish. I am a lover of all things related to art and creativity! Sharing is always caring. I have a 3hour cancellation policy however, I am open to work around your schedule and my hours to make up missed lessons.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been studying not only the Spanish language but also the culture, music, food, and dance for 9 consecutive years now and I absolutely love it! There is no greater joy for me than sharing my knowledge with others.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I work closely with my students to not only create a comfortable, judge free environment, but also to make learning fun with my unique teaching methods!
