Erica's Spanish Tutoring
I have been studying and practicing Spanish since fourth grade (nine years old). I am now a Sophomore in college (nineteen years old), and I have ten years of Spanish proficiency under my belt. I am in love with the Spanish language and culture; I have visited Spanish-speaking countries a countless number of times. My favorite thing to do when I am staying in a foreign, Spanish-speaking country is to volunteer. I volunteer for an organization that allows kids to stay in a sort of "halfway home," it keeps them off the streets and away from drugs, alcohol, and abusive homes.
My goal with tutoring is to help people learn the language and to show them all the reasons that this language is important to learn. I believe that with the country's growing population of Spanish-speaking citizens, it is crucial to be able to communicate with those that may not know English very well. Along with communication benefits, there are also a growing amount of jobs that have Spanish proficiency as a requirement.
