I'm very excited to help your student accomplish their goals and gain confidence in their abilities. I have experience working along side refugees from Myanmar at the International Community Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I have a degree in Elementary Education and am certified to teach 1 - 8 grades plus have earned continuing education graduate credits from UW/Green Bay and UW/Stout 9 of which are in Reading. I have 9 years of classroom experience, as well.
My connection with students comes naturally. I have experience with refugees from Myanmar, specifically Rohingya people group. They are delightful to tutor. My diverse experience is a plus.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, I like to get to know the student to provide correct resources.
Second, I would test them in the specific area of topic.
Third, I would develop a plan for the student. This would include student input and student goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a B.S. in Elementary Education and am certified to teach 1 - 8 grades. I have 9 years of classroom experience and currently work for Teachers On Call. I have taken 3 Reading classes from the University of Wisconsin/Stout and will be using best classroom practices to teach Reading.
