About
I have a Master’s degree in Reading and Writing and am a WI state certified teacher in Reading; English; General Music; and Choir. In addition, I have taught Study Skills, ACT/SAT Dental School and High School Admissions exam Prep, Piano, Voice, and Music Theory.
I work with strategies to move your learner from where that are to where they need to be.
I love getting to the “AHA!” or “Light Bulb” moment when everything makes sense! It’s what I strive for as I share strategies and skills with my students to get them to the next level.
I’ve helped students go from non-readers to readers; from ‘playing the radio’ to playing the piano; upped an SAT score 7 points so the girl could attend Marquette University ~ so many students over the past couple of decades!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to have a Meet&Greet with prospective clients to see if my teaching style is compatible with the learner's learning style; if not, I'm happy to assist in finding someone else to help ~ it's not about me or my ego: it's about what's right for the learner.
