I enjoy the benefits of building relationships with my students. It creates trust and lays a solid foundation for learning and improving confidence.
After identifying areas areas that my students need support with, I create lessons that are based on their learning style. I offer online interactive lessons, hands on educational games and worksheets so that my students have a variety of choices for engagement and learning.
I enjoy getting to know my students and seeing their eyes light up when they finally understand a concept that they've been struggling with or when they improve their grades. My goal is to increase my students' confidence and to teach them how to advocate for themselves.
When I see past students, who now have families, careers etc, I feel a great sense of pride in knowing that I helped shape them into who they are today.
