I live and work for those "lightbulb" moments with my students. My goal is to help students grow confidence, study skills and critical thinking. If you are looking for deeper understanding on a math, reading, writing or social studies topic, then I'm your person! I work closely with all of my students to engage them with the learning material and help them make connections to the world around them so that we don't just learn "facts" together but learn how to LEARN!

Colleen has been the best addition to my son’s academic year! My 7th grader fell behind in math last year and with Colleen’s assistance, he is working at a higher grade level! From a parent’s perspective, Colleen is a fantastic communicator from providing a weekly progress report to scheduling! She uses a variety of approaches to help a student to be successful. Colleen’s resume is nothing short of amazing and I feel quite lucky to have the opportunity to work with her!
From a student’s perspective, my son shared that Colleen is very patient and understanding which takes away the pressure to figure things out right away. He also said Colleen works at the student’s pace. We did not hesitate to sign up to work with her next year!
