About
Hi, my name is Izzy. I am currently a biochemistry student at UW Milwaukee and I work as a quality technician in the food manufacturing industry. Although I work mostly with sciences, I have always had a love for math, I even went to a math summer camp when I was in high school. I believe that math and natural sciences are challenging but they can also be fun. I hope to create a relaxing environment for students to think through practice problems and build up their problem solving tool box.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First I want to get an understanding of what the student's goals are for a class. Next, I want to know what I can do to help them achieve those goals. Lastly, we do the work.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a college student majoring in biochemistry. I have completed all or the math classes up to differential equations and linear algebra. I can confidently help with high school algebra 1 & 2, high school geometry, pre-calculus, and calculus 1.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My standard pricing is $16 an hour.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching two years ago. My friend needed help in a general chemistry class, so I would help with their problems since I took the class a year prior.
