Sarah provided tutoring during my Differential Equations class in summer 2019. In each session, I brought the most challenging puzzles from completed take-home quizzes and exams, and Sarah walked through the thought process for each one. Along the way, she asked clarifying questions to ensure we were on the same page. Since I am a visual and kinetic learner, Sarahs style of writing out the steps for problems helped me understand the flow of thought from beginning to end. Sarah also quizzed me with different forms of equations to improve confidence on exams. Sarahs ability to explain a problem different ways and connect topics to applications in other fields, such as physics and chemistry, was interesting and engaging.

Sarah was very knowledgeable and kind, and her patience and sense of humor made math fun! In addition, her rate was quite reasonable. Sarah showed genuine interest in my goals both in and out of the classroom, and was a great encouragement. Im very thankful that I finished Diff Eq strong. I highly recommend Sarah to anyone looking for quality tutoring support for a math or chemistry class!
