I have worked with students of all ages in english language composition, essay writing, grammar, and handwriting. I offer in-person or online tutoring services in english and general education. I can also help your son or daughter navigate online school and assist them in succeeding in this challenging new environment.
I have experience working with children who have learning disabilities and have a passion for compassionately assisting students to learn!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to build rapport with my student to find any common interests that we might share. This helps me tailor my learning platform to be mroe exiting for my student. I then get to know their learning style and adapt my methods to address kinesthetic, visual and auditory learners. Most of all, I try to make my tutoring sessions fun and exciting to come back to.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelor's degree in Journalism and Communications. I am currently pursuing a Master's in Occupational Therapy. I have worked as an experiential educator for 7 years and in the public school system as a Life Skills and Reading aid.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching place-based science curriculum in 2012 and my education career blossomed from there.

I have worked with students of all ages, especially students with learning differences.
