As a licensed and certified Bilingual Speech/Language Pahologist, I provide tutoring in the following areas:
English, reading, spelling, writing, reading comprehension, homework help, Spanish, elementary school math.
I'm very passionate about helping students succeed in their academic and social skills. I use an individualized approach for each student and belive motivation is crucial. I'm patient and try hard to implement creative/fun on-line sessions.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I'm very tuned into a student's age, needs and likes. I'm also sensitive to a student's difficulties and provide alternative strategies and explanations to the work. I like to get to know a student by asking what they enjoy doing, any pets, where they like to go, and ask about family and friends.
