Greetings! Do you or your child have a challenging relationship with mathematics? Well then, you've come to right place!
There's nothing worse than the feeling of struggling with a subject and math is a particularly sore spot for many students. My philosophy is that a great deal of this frustration stems from not understanding the "why?" behind the ideas (not just the "how?"). I aim to help students to not only vastly improve their math proficiency but also to develop their understanding about why the topics at hand may be important in their lives. After all, it's much more difficult to be excited about a topic that appears to have no relevance in your day-to-day routine!
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Washington and have long since grown tired of the grind of the software development world. I'm much more passionate about helping people and tutoring is a great conduit for just that.
