My service stands out because I am a current college student and I really identify with the students that I tutor in terms of breaking down subjects in an easily digestible manner. In terms of my credentials I currently hold a 4.00 GPA as a pre-med student and I aim to share study techniques and habits that have made me successful.
I love to see students struggle through problems and reason things out. Going through this process allows students to see that they can grasp the most difficult concepts. I hope to help students gain the confidence they need to succeed in all sorts of courses by going through the process of learning with them!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Before I begin using practice problems and making students apply difficult concepts I like to make sure that a student has a strong foundation. From there it is important to utilize a active recall approach to learning. This means doing many practice problems, utilizing flash cards, and explaining difficult concepts in one's own words. This approach is much more effective than rote memorization.
