Max At SoFlo SAT Tutors

Hi, I'm Max. A fun fact about me is that I once ran a mile in 4:20 exactly. I also love working with students! The most rewarding part of tutoring for me is when a new concept “clicks” with a student - their excitement is contagious, and it’s a privilege to be able to help them reach that point! On a more personal level, I am an enthusiastic and outdoorsy type of person!

I partner with students on a one-on-one basis in the SAT and ACT through SoFlo Tutors, my tutoring agency. I scored in the top percentile on both exams, graduated from Willamette University with a degree in Political Science, and have been tutoring with SoFlo for 3 years. Our methodology is analysis, strategy, and practice. Your student will take a free diagnostic test first so that we can identify their needs. Then, we'll create a plan to address those needs so that we can improve your student’s overall scores. Finally, we will practice using real exams and test questions so that by the time the test comes around, their increase is larger and more attainable than ever.
