SoFlo Math Tutors

Hi, my name is Youssef! Fun fact: I am an avid video collector. It's my number one favorite pastime! Playing them is a close 13th. I also love working with students. The most rewarding part of tutoring for me is when a new concept “clicks” with a student - their excitement is contagious, and it’s a privilege to be able to help them reach that point! On a more personal level, I am a patient and friendly type of person!

I partner with students on a one-on-one basis in STEM subjects through SoFlo Tutors, my tutoring agency. I graduated from The College of New Jersey with a degree in Mathematics and Urban Secondary Education and have been tutoring with SoFlo for two years. At SoFlo, we want to raise grades, strengthen understanding, and increase confidence. Since Math and Science build on themselves, our methodology is to identify gaps in a student’s knowledge of a subject and help to fill them in with individualized lessons!
