How did you get started teaching?
I have always enjoyed helping others learn. Over the pandemic, I started working in a health service organization where I created videos for kids about anatomy and physiology. I really enjoyed figuring out how to present complex information in an engaging and understandable way. This led me to become a writing tutor for an organization that helps low-income high school students access tutoring and college counseling services.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have formally tutored high school students. Informally, I have helped classmates in my college classes suceed in biology, chemistry, and anatomy courses.
