Hello! I’m a retired teacher and school administrator of grades K-8, early childhood and special education. I have a Masters degree in education plus credentials in special ed, early childhood and school administration. I’ve presented workshops around the country on reading, writing, vocabulary, special ed, music, math and other subjects. I’ve also worked for DHS in Oregon tutoring foster children and as a CASA/ Guardian Ad Litem (child advocate) for children involved in the court system. I believe learning should be fun and hands-on. I live in the Olympia/Lacey area and love working 1-on-1 or with small groups to help kids succeed. Every child is unique and has special strengths and abilities-and that’s what I tap into when teaching and tutoring.
