Math And English Tutor
About
Hi! I'm Sneha and I'm a senior in high school and will graduate in June 2020. I have tutored my friends and classmates ever since middle school and have watched them get better at whatever it is that I am teaching! My personality of being patient and friendly is what I think helps me be an excellent tutor.
What I love about tutoring is how excited my students get when they finally get something right. It makes me really happy to know that I am helping someone improve their skills. I enjoy watching whoever I am working with become better at a certain subject. The smile I see that appears and the frustration that fades is something that can easily make my day.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to get to know a student before I decide what teaching style to use. Every student is different and has different needs and I like to recognize that. I adapt to the needs of the student as well as the parent to be most successful with my teaching and my student's learning. In general, I like to do a lot of repetition and review in my teaching to ensure that my student understands the material.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As a senior in high school, I have had the opportunity to be exposed to many different teaching styles. I think this has really helped me understand how to teach others.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I don't have a standard pricing system and instead like to leave it up to my student to pay whatever is comfortable for them.
How did you get started teaching?
I got started teaching during middle school with peer tutoring. I have been teaching ever since!
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with kids of all ages from preschool to high school. I have also worked with adults on reading, writing, grammar, and pronunciation.
