Sahana Hegde

My name is Sahana Hegde, and I am a sophomore studying computer science at the University of Washington and minoring in business administration. Getting to the level of education I am at currently took a lot of studying and repetition on subjects like math and science, as they are the backbone of my education. Even in college, math concepts are just as prevalent, if not even more critical. I have experience tutoring students in different math subjects in my high school education. I learned better with students as a teacher because how fellow students learn and understand information will also be closer to my learning type. I prioritize making students feel helped and comfortable when tutoring them as it provides a sense of support with complicated subjects like math. Building solid foundations helps with future educational concepts and is extremely important.
