As a current freshman student with 1 year of experience of tutoring younger children, I’m still learning K-12 material. I like to help younger students who most need it specially if English is not their native language, since I know the struggle of adapting to a new language and the whole cultural change, which inspires me to get to know them and let them know that no language or cultural differences will not make them feel like they are not smart enough. I’m really patient and I always repeat myself or try to explain a topic in different ways which adapt better to the student, so they are able to understand the material. My goal is to help younger students to not stay behind because of little differences and help them succeed.
