What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, I talk and meet with the parents / individual and find out what they are looking for, their areas of struggle, strengths, and what their goals are.

How did you get started teaching?
I got started by volunteering in my daughter’s Private school. Then I decided to go back to college and get my degrees in Education, while I was doing this I volunteered in a local Elementary school. I have Dyslexia and Dysgraphia. I understand how challenging and frustrating it can be for students. I wanted to make a difference and have a better understanding of how a learning difference affects individuals and become a support system for the parents, individuals, and teachers.
