Hey there! I love to help people and watch people grow academically. I have a lvl 1 teaching certificate for college level English. I am very patient and experienced in every aspect of English. I can help you understand whatever it is you want or need to know! I have UDL design training methods and can work with special needs students as well. I have a years' experience tutoring college level English Literature and ESL. I have also taught Montessori back in 2010-2016. I'm flexible with hours and would love to help you!
In my spare time you can find me in the middle of the woods with my pup! I love nature, hiking, photography and horseback riding.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My typical process for beginning work with a new student would be to establish a personal connection, to gain comfort and have open communication so that I know what kind of teaching style to adapt to per student. Everyone learns differently!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I worked at Everett Community College as an English/Literature and ESL tutor where I worked remotely and helped many students with essays, proof reading, sentence structure, etc. I am a grade one tutor through EvCC.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
If a student prefers me to drive to their home then I do have to add gas to the rate as I am still a college student myself!

When I was younger and realized I had a passion for watching and helping people learn. I started officially teaching in 2019.
