Hello, my name is Liyah! I have experience working 1-on-1 with children in elementary schools as a paraeducator, and I truly love helping students grow. I’m also currently earning my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, which strengthens the way I support kids academically, emotionally, and socially.
When I work with students, I focus on patience, encouragement, and helping them feel confident in their own learning style. I believe the experience a child has while learning is just as important as the material itself. I’m calm, steady, and never rush through lessons, especially when something feels challenging. I meet students where they’re at, break things down in a way that makes sense to them, and celebrate the progress they make along the way.
My goal is to create a safe, positive learning environment where students feel supported, capable, and excited to learn. I’d love to help your child succeed.
