About
Over the last couple of years, I have worked with hundreds of college and highschool students in the Seattle area. Students who work with me say that I help them to understand difficult concepts and boost their confidence in ways that other tutors and teachers have not. If you are feeling stuck or uncertain, and need someone who can both teach and guide you towards success, I'm your guy.
I enjoy the moments when I see students overcome the obstacles that keep them from moving forward. When a student finally realizes how to solve a math problem, or comes up with a brilliant idea for their essay, I share their sense of accomplishment.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I work exclusivley online through Zoom. Before we meet for the first time, I will ask you some questions so that I can prepare to help you. I will also ask you to bring something particular for us to work on during the meeting. Other than that, our sessions will be very open and will consist of a combination of teaching, discussion, and feedback.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an Associate in Arts Degree and 2 years of tutoring experience from Edmonds College where I received extensive training. I am also a member of the National Tutoring Association.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I will ask for about $20 - $30 an hour, depending on the student and subject.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with a very diverse group of college students across all ages, ethnicites, and educational backgrounds. Many of the students I work with are highschool students enrolled in the running start program.
