Learning Fun

Hi, my name is Rita and I have been enjoying tutoring for many years. I have and continue tutoring K-12 students in subjects like math, reading, writing, science, SAT, test preparations etc. I take teaching as a challenge and will find different ways to teach until the student understands it, because we all learn differently and I don't believe in one teaching method fits all. I have worked with students with different needs like getting ahead in grade level, with IEPs, short term or long term. I will go above and beyond in helping students reach their immediate and/or long term goals with the parent/guardian input and work closely with them. The highlight of my teaching is when the students understand the concept or topic they were struggling with and I see the sparkle in their eyes with their confidence and self-esteem boosted.
