Hi there! I am Isa - a former interdisciplinary STEM education researcher assistant (3+ years and many conferences later, please ask me about my research!) and pre-medical student, with other passionate interests in history, music and literature. I have experience working with kids of many ages, and love to make science and math more accessible and easier for people to understand. I also love to help people relearn how fun and rewarding the learning process can be, and strongly believe there is no such thing as a “bad question.” I hope to answer any of your questions to the best of my ability and learn from each other along the way.

After teaching in the classroom for 6 years (grades K-5), I have decided to work with students in a more dynamic and individualized atmosphere-tutoring! My favorite part of teaching has always been working with students 1:1, where I get to connect with the students and meet their individual needs. My students would describe me as fun, kind, caring, "the best teacher ever", and my fellow teachers would describe me as engaging, responsive, and dedicated. I aim to provide each child and family and rewarding experience that is full of progress and fun!

I am a Data Science master’s graduate from Indiana University, having completed my degree in 2022. During my academic journey, I gained valuable experience as a teacher at Indiana University, where I honed my skills in conveying complex concepts to students. My passion lies in teaching mathematics, and I firmly believe that real-world examples are the key to helping students grasp mathematical concepts effectively. Currently, I work as a Data Scientist at Costco, where I apply my analytical skills to extract meaningful insights from data. My dedication to teaching extends beyond the classroom, as I strive to make math relatable by connecting

I take a personalized approach to helping students to bridge gaps in their understanding, meeting each individual at their level by explaining things in terms that they can understand and relate to. While I’ve only been tutoring for a couple years, I have been told that I have a knack for explaining finer details of mathematics and science in a manner that help bridge understanding for individuals that have struggled with understanding these topics before.

Hi, my name is Lilly! I received the seal of biliteracy after high school from the state of Colorado and I'm currently a French major at school. I'm passionate about learning and using French whenever I can and to help other people develop their passion as well! I believe that the best way to learn a language is to jump right in and immerse yourself in all things French, and I can help with those steppingstones by learning basic phrases and useful conjugations, etc. Whether your goal is short term for travel or work purposes, getting ready for a test, or your own edification, I will be here for you. As a student myself, I have a flexible sch

Macy L.
My situation was unique. I had serious epileptic seizures during high school resulting in multiple brain surgeries and a long, challenging recovery. Matt entered my life during this time; I still had assignments to complete before graduation and an impending SAT exam, so I met with Matt twice a week and learned the essential concepts of writing and reading comprehension. While math was my strong suit, Matt helped me identify some earlier math concepts that needed refreshing. My initial SAT score prior to my relationship with Matt was 1260, but, after tutoring, I received a 1510 and was accepted by my school of choice for pre-med studies. I continue to meet with Matt two or three times per week during my undergraduate studies for more advanced writing strategies. I cannot imagine a better academic mentor than I have found with Matt.
