STEM Tutoring Galore
About
I'm just a high school kid, so I'm pretty chill. I'm available at virtually any time, and I'll always do my best to help with anything.
It genuinely does make my day to know that I helped someone. Plus, I do genuinely enjoy math, so tutoring is always fun.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First of all, I need to understand where they are in their learning--what level they are at--, how they like to learn, and what they wish for me to do for them. Tutoring is all about the student, and I'm just here to help. Then I ask how often our tutoring sessions will be and how big of a workload they're comfortable with (it's alright if they don't want any homework from me!) From here, I am able to start developing lessons and looking for resources that will aid the student.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm a current high school junior, so I only know so much. I specialize in math, as I used to be a math tutor. I am currently taking Calculus in school, and I am well-versed in mostly anything covered throughout elementary and middle school--including Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, and the little bit of Calculus that I've learned thus far.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
As of current, no. I am looking to accumulate service hours, so my lessons are free for the time being! Although, please do allow me to use you as a reference to verify the validity of my service hours. If I were to have a pricing system in the future, I think I would charge about $16 per hour. I am willing to adjust pricing! Just reach out to me.
How did you get started teaching?
I just like it. My peers always needed math help so.. boom, I was their savior.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've mainly only worked with elementary and middle school students. And my peers throughout high school. I'm a junior right now.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I get to ski. That's fun.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Keep looking until you find a teacher you like, who suits you. There are a lot of teachers out there.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
No questions, honestly. Just reach out. Teachers are there to help.
