About

Hello! I am an Electrical Engineering student at WWU. I have maintained a 3.75 GPA (A- avg) while taking a rigorous schedule. I have done all my GURs and am 2 classes away from receiving a minor in math. As a currently enrolled college student I know the exact structure and style most students are taught. I also know that the same method is not going to work for everyone. I have spent most of my education helping my peers learn the material while I am as well. This has made me a better student and I have formed a passion for teaching others difficult concepts. I find a lot of professors fail at explaining concepts in their entirety and would rather simply teach a method that is easily forgotten.

I value eduacation and learining very highley. So helping others reach higher levels of education is very rewarding to me. It is also beneficial to review material I have learned in the past.

I’ve been getting tutored by Colter for a few months now and he’s very professional and communicative. He has helped me with physics with calculus and linear algebra. I especially have a hard time learning from most teachers but colter has really helped me learn each concept in and out. He’s not like other tutors that just tell you how to do it, he genuinely cares about you knowing the material. Which I really appreciate!

Colter is an excellent teacher, because of his knowledge in Calculus my son was able to understand and pass his class. I highly recommend as a tutor.

I was very pleased with Colter as a tutor. My son was having trouble in his AP Calculus class in High School and Colter was able to help him understand and receive an A in the class! Previously he was failing the class.

Frequently asked questions

For a new student I will do basic introductions and make sure the student is comfortable and ready to learn. I am young so relating to other students is not much of a challenge.

I have worked on quite a few group electrical engineering projects with others. The tasks always require skillful communication of difficult concepts with new people. This directly relates to tutoring and the skills needed.

Pricing can be negotiated. Typically I charge 30$ minimum for the first hour then 25$ every hour after that.
