Arika’s Chemistry Tutoring
About
I am a recent college graduate from Virginia Wesleyan university. I got my bachelors of science in chemistry. I am now in graduate school to get my masters in education at Virginia Wesleyan university. I have also worked as a personal care aid and med aid at an adult living facility. Therefore, I am very versatile and patient with all students. I have done 3 years of chemistry research and have even been funded by the EPA to conduct research with a team. I worked as a lab tech for 4 years in college and loved it! I like to think I have the experience to make students succeed.
I enjoy seeing the light bulb turn on when students understand the content and got to the answer with me advising then. I like my students to learn to be independent thinkers. I love helping students have an appreciation for science and maybe even grow a love for it.
