I am Orton Gilligham trained and have been teaching for 10 years. I specialize in helping students that struggle with reading and writing. I have am dual certified in special education as well as general education. I use the OG approach and we systematically teach students based on what they need. Students will be taught with a multi sensory approach.
I love the joy I see on students faces when they learn how to read!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First I complete an assessment to se what students need. Then I typically work with a student three days a week using the Orton Gillingham approach to systemically teach reading skills. I also work on writing skills using EB academics.

BS in Elementary Education
