About
My name is Galin and I believe that I will be an effective and excellent teacher for you to consider. I am learning different teaching methods and I'm constantly looking to make the learning process fun and interesting. My goal is to increase my online teaching options.
I have two years teaching ESL to Spanish speakers at my church. I taught both beginners and advanced students. We used workbooks here and I also created other fun conversational activities. Furthermore, I taught an Afghan man who didn't know any English. I worked with him for six months and watched him grow in his understanding of English.
I received my ESL or TEFL certificate in January 2025. I also have a four year college degree in psychology. I have effective teaching skills because as a salesperson in my job, I have to make sure the customer completely understands the service before they buy it. This passion to explain and teach translates well to teaching English.
