Frequently asked questions

First, I will sit down with the student and address their primary concerns and determine what they want out of their tutoring experience- whether that be simply a passing grade, true comprehension, or to optimize their studying habits.

Second, I would like to determine the students most effective form of learning (audio, visual, physical).

Third, I would like to set a flexible schedule that would work for both myself and the student.

I hold a BS in biology from George Mason University with a minor in public health. I also work in the science field as an associate scientist for a contract research organization.

I tutored all throughout high school and college!

I have worked predominantly with students majoring in a science degree. I do not have experience working with students who have diagnosed learning disabilities.
