K-3 Tutoring
About
Since I can remember, I have always dreamt of being a teacher. I had many monumental teachers throughout my educational journey that helped shape me, and I aspired to be that for someone else. That led me to pursue and obtain my multiple subject teaching credential and Master’s in Education. I have since been instructing students of all ages for 7 years now at public schools around the US. I started my teaching career in Santa Barbara, CA where I taught 5th, 2nd, and kindergarten. Then, I moved across the country to Virginia Beach where I taught 3rd grade. I recently relocated to Charleston, SC where I’m teaching 3rd again. In my classroom, I encourage my students to constantly ask questions, overcome any fears of making mistakes, and try their best.
I love creating curriculum to best met the needs of each individual student. I enjoy learning their different learning styles and incorporating that into each lesson.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First and foremost, I want to get to know my students and have them feel comfortable with me. I want to find out their interests and see how we can incorporate that into the lessons so they are having fun and engaged!
