1500+ SAT Tutor

IT'S FREE. For the time being, I'm offering online tutoring on evenings/nights completely free. Not "first lesson free" free, but actually free. However, I would likely start charging if enough interest manifested. I genuinely just enjoy tutoring- specifically in math, science, and reading/grammar. I like my 9 to 5 job, but it isn't quite mentally stimulating enough me, so this is my method of scratching that itch when I come home. The mantra "you get what you pay for" doesn't always hold true!

With that out of the way: if you’re looking to become significantly more skilled at quickly and confidently answering SAT questions, then look no further. My goal is to get students into at least the low- if not high- 1500 range, for the combined math and reading score.

I am considerably proficient at answering and explaining SAT questions. I receive a large amount of satisfaction from elaborating on how to solve test problems for math and other subjects. I have also always particularly enjoyed the challenge of standardized tests, tackling them with a competitive fervor. Sometimes I take online SAT math practice tests for fun. I've even done no scrap paper, and/or no calculator, test runs as an extra challenge, though I wouldn't endorse this as a training method.

Soon after graduating college I interviewed for a full-time SAT tutoring position in Fairfax County, Virginia, and was offered the job immediately afterward. I ended up declining the position in favor of taking a position closer to home, in a field more in-line with my degree.

However, over the past several months I’ve found myself thinking back upon this decision with increasing frequency, to the point where I have now decided to genuinely pursue tutoring again. I earnestly look forward to helping you improve your readiness and aptitude for the SAT by leaps and bounds.
