I have a Virginia State teaching license and a TEFL Certification. I have been teaching English for 9 years- 1 year abroad with adult students, 4 years in the classroom with adult students, and 4 year in the classroom with middle school-aged children. I am able to adapt my lessons to fit your needs and personality.

    My first tutoring session is complimentary and is more of a "meet and greet". I ask the student what their goals, needs, and interests are, how they like to learn and study, and what I can do to best help them succeed. Through conversation, I assess new students' basic knowledge of English so I can determine a good starting point for our tutoring sessions.
