About
I am a high school student that wants to change the way people think. My goal is to figure out ways in which I can make you comprehend what you are learning! Ever since my freshman year of high school, I have been tutoring my peers. I am in the all A honor roll, and I love teaching and learning new information. By allowing me to tutor you, you will be choosing someone who was in your shoes not too long ago!
I have lots of experience working with people my age and younger. I preferably like to teach English 10 and under as well as elementary math, algebra, and parts of geometry.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to start off by working on their homework, and seeing what they struggle with. With that, we can target a specific area, and see how I can help them understand the information better.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I will start off at $15 per session. However, all of my pricing is negotiable and may increase/decrease depending on the subject.
How did you get started teaching?
I have been teaching my friends since freshman year. I have helped them in math, science, Spanish, etc, whenever they would struggle. I also tutor my younger sister who is in elementary school. Last year, I started to tutor as a volunteer for Learn in Shelter.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with my peers and kids ranging from Kindergarten to 7th grade.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would advise students to build up patience and a sense of understanding. Not every tutor they come across may have the teaching abilities they feel they need and deserve. So make sure they communicate with them often.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What is it that I struggle with? How often do I need to be tutored? Are there certain materials I can provide my tutor with to help her/him better understand what I struggle with?
