About
I am a graduate of Oxford University in the UK, and have been tutoring mathematics for over 10 years. As well as working privately, I was head of the mathematics department at a tutorial college in the UK, and have also worked for a tutorial college in Dubai.
Tutoring is about learning each student, finding out their strengths and weaknesses, and finding new ways to explain topics which they are struggling with.
I enjoy working with enthusiastic students who are engaged and eager to learn and improve. This makes the work much more rewarding and is when great progress can really be made.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
With a new student, I try to quickly learn the student's strengths and weaknesses, then develop a strategy to help the student achieve their goals.

Masters degree in Mathematics, with Honors, from Oxford University in the UK
How did you get started teaching?
After graduating from University, I worked full-time for a tutorial college, tutoring over 30 hours per week.
