What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I like to start with a pre-test to gauge where a student's skills are at. Based on the pre-test, I create an individualized curriculum to help build on their strengths and strengthen their foundational gaps. I will periodically give a mini-quiz to make sure the material is understood.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have been a private math tutor for 2 years now and I have been a tutor at Mathnasium LLC in Vienna, VA
