Angela Ha

I graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a Master’s degree in Educational Technology and from Temple University with a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education. I earned my teaching certification in 2015 and hold an ACTFL Korean certification.

I have over 10 years of experience working with children in various educational settings, including practicums, daycare, tutoring, student teaching, and private schools. I previously worked at Korea Poly School, a private English academy in South Korea, where I taught English to students from Pre-K through 6th grade. More recently, I worked at Spider Smart Learning Center, where I taught English and math to students in small group settings.

I specialize in working with young learners (ages 3–10) and provide engaging, supportive instruction in Korean, English, reading, writing, and elementary math. With my background in early childhood and elementary education, I understand the importance of creating lessons that match each child’s learning style, interests, and developmental level.

I was born and raised in South Korea and am a native Korean speaker. My experience living and teaching in both South Korea and the United States allows me to bring a multicultural perspective to my lessons. I especially enjoy helping students learn Korean while building confidence in a new language.

I believe children learn best when they feel comfortable, encouraged, and excited to participate. My goal is to make every lesson fun, meaningful, and personalized so students can develop both academic skills and a love for learning.
