I am currently working as a 3rd grade teacher and I have a Bachelor's Degree in Child Study which allows me to teach both general education and special education. I also have an English Degree and I am working towards my Master's in Adolescent Special Education.
I love helping others and for college students I understand how stressful it can be I have been there and it's not always easy so I'm happy to help.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to see what they are working on and will see what questions they may have and talk to them about what they are interested to create menaingful and fun ways to keep them enaged. I like to know where they are struggling and what confuses to them so I can help them to hte best of my ability.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a 3rd grade teacher and am certified to teach general education and special education. I also have an English Degree. I also took time to volunteer to tutor a second grade student who was having trouble reading.

How did you get started teaching?
I have always had a passion for it since I was younger and really enjoyed the program for teaching I was with in college.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with sturggling readers, students with disabilities and have helped some of my fiends in college edit and revise their essays and papers.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I love that I can help my third graders have fun with their learning and make them excited to come to school. i always plan fun projects that relate to the content of what they are learning.
