Ms. Shawn M. Simms

As a veteran teacher of 26 years, I bring a lot of experience and knowledge to my work with students. I thoroughly enjoy tutoring as it gives me a chance to work one-on-one with students and see real and effective progress. My students would say that I bring enthusiasm and a love of learning, as well as an ability to diagnose each student's challenge and design lesson to help her or him to improve and meet the goal. I have ample references available from previous students that I have tutored. One student recently told me " I wish I had found you earlier! You were the most helpful tutor I have worked with, and I have worked with many." I take a lot of pride in my work as a teacher and a tutor.
