About
I am a licensed teacher with a concentration in STEM education. I know the curriculum well and what is being asked of your child in their school. I have access to materials that others don't, and can go much deeper than others who are not teachers. Science, Technology, Engeneering, and Mathematics are where I specialize, but can teach all Elementary subjects, and math up to seventh grade. I have a real passion for working with kids and I build great rapports with them. Learning is fun with the right tools. Teacher for 5 years, working with kids for 10 years.
Ever since I can remember, I have loved working with children. Their unique ways of looking at things and their ever expanding minds provide a much needed look into how we all can live and learn. The "Aha" moments are what I live for; the look of "Oh, now I understnad" is one of the best facial expresions a teacher can see. When those faces are combined with an expression of love for the learning, it is worth every minute.
