Johana Wynegar

As an Elementary English Teacher with experience in bilingual education, I am passionate about creating engaging, inclusive, and student-centered learning environments where every child has the opportunity to thrive. Throughout my career, I have designed meaningful learning experiences that strengthen language acquisition, build confidence, and encourage students to become active, curious learners.

My experience includes teaching multiple elementary grade levels, developing standards-based curriculum, designing differentiated instruction, and preparing students for Cambridge English Qualifications, including A2 Flyers and A2 Key for Schools. I enjoy combining creativity, educational technology, collaborative learning, and project-based instruction to make language learning both meaningful and enjoyable.

I believe that successful classrooms are built on strong relationships. I value partnering with families, collaborating with colleagues, and creating a positive classroom culture where students feel safe, respected, and motivated to reach their full potential. My teaching philosophy focuses not only on academic achievement but also on fostering confidence, communication skills, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning.

Fluent in both English and Spanish, I bring strong communication skills, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset to diverse educational settings.
