About
I am a passionate learner in several different technical areas, but an even more passionate teacher. I would like to pass on my unique and successful methods of learning and understanding the hardest concepts in subjects like Math or Computer Science. I have tutored math in high school, done volunteering experience to teach pre schoolers, and am currently a private swim instructor to young local swimmers, so I have more than enough experience teaching kids of varying ages one on one. For high school students: I can tutor in SAT 2s (Physics - 800, Math - 800), ACTs (34, full score math), or APs (5s accross 9 different APs). For younger students: I am very friendly and passionate about learning, so I hope to pass this on to younger children! Please let me know if you need more information with the contact email provided. What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I test them on their ability first, and analyze any possible improvements. I then work on necessary improvements, prioritized by importance. I put strong effort on getting the student excited and interested in the subject because students learn best when interested and invested in the topic!
