Joyful Tutoring

My life motto is to always choose joy. I want to help my students seek joy in learning and in the little things. It’s those lightbulb moments that bring me joy. It’s those full circle moments where students are able to teach what they’ve learned to others that drives me to continue doing this.

I have a Bachelor’s degree in English with a concentration in secondary education from Regent University. I’m state licensed to teach 6-12 grade English. However, my degree is in English, so I could really teach English to any age. I’ve worked with kids and teens for most of my life, mostly in volunteer capacities. I have around 2 or 3 years experience between teaching and tutoring. I love editing essays and helping with writing the most, but reading is my specialty too.
