About
As a current college student at the University of Virginia, I am studying English Literature and Poetry Writing. My 2+ years of teaching and tutoring experience, and 8+ years of working with children of all ages in various other capacities has given me the fulfilling opportunity to help students reach their full academic potential. With each of my students, I get to know them beyond their academic goals and understand who they are as individuals striving to learn. I love seeing how strengthening one's reading and writing skills empowers students in all areas of their life, in the classroom and beyond. I am passionate about not only instructing my students in the material, but also teaching them to harness the full power of language and see how reading and writing well can change their perspective on life itself.
