About
Do you want to be tutored by an expert in the field of Writing Studies? By a published scholar on the teaching and tutoring of writing? By a professor at one of the most prestigious universities in the world?
Then, I'm your guy.
I've tutored and taught thousands of college writers, first as a graduate instructor and tutor at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and now as an Assistant Professor in the Writing and Rhetoric Program at the University of Virginia. I have a PhD in English from UNL, a M.A. in English from Northwest Missouri State University, and B.S. in Journalism from NWMSU, as well.
I'm also the Assistant Director of the UVA Writing Center where I'm tasked with training writing tutors.
In short, I know what I'm doing, and I can help anyone who needs assistance with writing, literature, or creative writing (I'm also a published fiction writer) at the secondary or post-secondary level.
