About
I have been an FCPS elementary school teacher for 14 years. I have taught 1st-3rd grades, reading & math intervention for K-6th and have summer school and tutoring experiences with students in grades 2nd-7th. I am also a licensed reading specialist and have a wealth of knowledge and skills to propel struggling readers.
I truly enjoy working with children! One of the most fascinating moments is seeing a child’s eyes light up when they see for themselves how successful they are!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
After revisiting a request, I will work with parents to determine how I can best meet the needs of their child. Depending on the needs a tutoring plan will be developed and the first sessions may or may not include brief assessment tools.
